I knew i was being a little too optimistic when i decided to do my nails yesterday before going to work, but i was planning on just cutting them real short (something i rarely do) and painting them some neutral color to cover the delightful, nicotine yellow hue my nails have had since i removed the green varnish i bought in Japan.
I almost made it too.

I did find a nice nude color, but then i decided that it'd look so much better with some glitter!
I messed them up a few times on my way to work...
... and a few times while drilling holes in the wall at work
But even after all the little accidents they still look ok

At least they're not yellow!

  1. Ugh! I hate yellow nails.

I don't know if they still do, but Rimmel used to make a nail whitening undercoat that was awesome... After a similar incident with some super coral pink "7 DAY WEAR" polish, I wore the whitening stuff on its own for a couple of days, and when I took it off, clean looking nails again!

  2. I use lemon; meaning a slice of lemon rubbed over nails, it makes them whiter and moisturizes pretty good too.

  3. I don't think we have that here, but i found something similar that was super expensive.
So i think i'll try the lemon trick first!
Also, Rimmel did this to me... or i did it to myself by not using a basecoat, but still, i blame them!
