Con Air

I'm not feeling good today.
It's a cold thing.
Sore throat, sneezing, the works.
I think it might be the con-plague, with a few days delay on it.
I don't really get to complain, though.
Remember last year when i was so sick at the London Convention that i lost my voice?
At least this years affliction was just itchiness.
Well, not "just", it was actually a pretty fucking horrible itching due to an allergic reaction in my new tattoo, and i thought i was gonna lose my mind, but at least i could speak!

So yes, we went to London recently, as you can maybe guess!
I also did a bunch of other stuff, which you probably also guessed, since it's been almost a month since i posted anything here.
I know, i suck.

In London we stayed at a new hotel, which was wonderful, and instead of going out in huge groups to late dinners as we normally do, we just hung out with our friend and booth-mate and his girlfriend.
It was pretty great, and i managed to not get hit by the extreme exhaustion until Sunday night, and i think that's a first.

We're back home now with a house full of friends and guest artists.
Oh, and it's basically winter now!
I think i was wearing shorts when i wrote my last post.

Anyway, here are some pictures, just to maybe get the blogging ball rolling.
Yes, i am painfully aware that i said that last time too.

Wild flowers on one of the last summer days

Coffee, one that same day, i think

This guy managed to bloom a few more times

Yes, finally got this tattoo that i've been wanting for so long!

The red wall, while it still had some green

Wallpaper in the bathroom, which is now pretty much perfect, except for the fact that the heater hasn't worked there for a few days... cold, cold mornings

Puffy hand, before the allergy kicked in*

Work room hammock is up, but when i use it now, i am wearing pants... and socks

Last room is almost finished

I met an old friend from way back in the myspace days

We went to a Chinese moon festival and saw amazing fireworks

It rained on Lucifer

 And i got fatter

England being all kinds of English

The view from our hotel room

My view for most of the weekend was also not a bad one

We managed to squeeze in a flea market before the convention started

And we found a good coffee spot on the way to work

The weather was great all weekend, but it was especially good on Monday before flying home to cold Berlin

Believe it ot not, it's even redder today

Can you tell that Nick is here?

Finished this diorama last night, probably over a year since i started it

I think i'm gonna have some more tea now.
And possibly a nap.
Part of me knows that it's too late to fight this off, but i still have to try.

*Just to clarify, the allergic reaction is not due to the inks we use at the shop.
