Yes, i know i just stepped off the plane from France a few hours ago, and i am happy to be home with my baby and my dog, but...
I am also damn excited about going back to Japan.
A couple of things today reminded me how much i've missed my other home.
First, i was at the local Irma shopping for groceries when i overheard a shop clerk go "i'm sorry, i don't understand what you want".
I went over to see what was going on and it turned out to be little japanese ladies.
Now i don't speak japanese, but i do speak japanenglish, almost fluently.
So i managed to translate for them, and it made them happy, which made me really happy.
Second, i was at Irma shopping for dinner.
I made one of my danish/japanese meals. I've missed healthy food while in France, those people can't even make a salad or a plate of vegetables.
Anyway, we had tuna, tomato bites (looks like a veggie meatball), carrot and tofu salad, rice and seasoned korean nori.
Mmmm.
Oh, and seeing Horitoshi (the newest addition to the crew at Inkrat) at the convention in Evian and hearing him talk about life at the shop, just made me miss Rei, Hata and Izumi so much.
It is good to be home right now.
