We've been in Japan for about two weeks now (where does the friggin time go?) and so far it's been good.
Good, but different.
Every trip here is different from the others, of course, but i think this is the first time we've just stayed in Tokyo.
We didn't buy a rail pass this time, and without it traveling by Shinkansen is just too expensive.
But being at home suits me just fine anyway.
I wanted to relax and hang out with my man, and that's pretty much what i've been doing.
Last sunday i went to a flea market at the Hanazono Jinja, a place i'd never visited before, despite that fact that it's located right in the middle of Shinjuku.
I was a little too late to get a good deal on anything, but i was pleasantly surprised by the shrine.
Such a pretty and peaceful place.
I might take Allan there this sunday.

I can't believe how cold it's been here for the past few days.
Today Allan is working and i've just stayed in and painted most of the day.
But we did have an outside day yesterday, which i will tell you all about later, so i think i'm allowed.
