Haiti luv

As i'm sure everyone has heard by now, Haiti was struck by a major earthquake last night, the most powerful to hit the country in over 200 years.
Earthquakes of this magnitude are terrible no matter where they happen, of course, but somehow it seems extra unfair when it happens in a place that has had such bad luck for such a long time.

So, if you're a relatively happy and healthy individual, like myself, with a roof over your head and a couple of extra pounds on your behind, maybe you'd like to donate a little to those who are way less fortunate?
If you don't, that's entirely your business, but if you do, here are a few links to make it easier for you:

US: Text "Haiti" to 90999 and $10 will go to the Red Cross from your phone bill

Danmark: Støt Dansk Røde Kors med 100 kr, SMS katastrofe til 1231

UK: Donate by phone to the British Red Cross: 0845 053 5353

  1. Jeg sender et par sms'er. Jeg har trods alt en kæmpe røv.
Jeg var lige ved at græde da jeg hørte nyheden. Det er bare så sørgeligt.

  2. I hadn't heard about, no! I must live in a bubble!

How great of you to post about this, raise awareness and encourage people to help x

  3. I read online that Wyclef Jean broke the internet because he got so many people to donate online after he twitted.

  4. Jeg havde ikke hørt om det, før jeg så din blog, for jeg var ude på shoot hele dagen. Jeg vil straks ringe til British Red Cross og donere.

  5. Those images coming from Haiti remind us of our experience in Kobe. So sad it hurts.

  6. Alex- that's awesome!
If anyone in the US wants to donate to Wyclefs fund, use your cell phone to text “Yele” to 501501, which will automatically donate $5 to the Yele Haiti Earthquake Fund, it will be charged to your cell phone bill.

Ai- i thought of Kobe too.
